The central library, Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College & Hospital, Visnagar is one among major Dental subject libraries in the area of medical & paramedical. The library was established in 2006. It has built a large collection of books, journals and non-books materials. It also has a rich collection of resources in electronic media available. online E-resources ” Dentistry & Oral Sciences Database” (having over 215 E-Journals, E-Magazine, E-Article over 3000 abstract and 31 E-Books). It caters to the needs of large group of user including students and faculties. Library is fully computerized.
All the Dental & Medical Departments have their own departmental libraries.
Service: The Circulation section remains open between 8.30 AM to 3.30 P.M. on Weekdays.
Reading Facilities
Reading facilities (Magazines and journals, news papers, books etc.) are provided to the user from 08:30 am to 03:30 pm in the library premise. During the examination period library kept open form 08:30 am to 06:00 pm. for students to read their own materials.
XEROXING: Xeroxing facilities are available at the library.
